--Design Challenge from Rakuten--

Introduction & Working Process:

This was a quick design challenge Rakuten ( a Japan-based international e-commercial service) posted for hiring, which was also the first design challenge I've ever been asked to take. It's a mobile B2B product onboarding project.  I felt it'd be interesting to share this experience.

I only have 1 week to complete this challenge. Rakuten provided a detailed requirement of the challenge document and claimed I could add anything if I felt like it. Since the time was short, I simply did researches on the needed information field for the B2B product onboarding process and ask a friend who had experience in the e-commercial business. I also tried to eBay a thing ( my friend bought it from me after this challenge ) I used the elements listed in the document and drew flows to make sure I included everything. I also use a checklist just in case.

Deliverables:

Hi-fi Prototype

Tools:

Adobe Xd

I did not think I have the right to share more information about the design challenge document. However, I do think It can share these screenshots on screens and part of my Adobe Xd file. There are many elective options in the B2B platform, and it's both challenging and exciting trying to manage all these things and keep the screen clean. Options are different. I spent time imaging different situations that the users might encounter and felt energetic.

BTW, I did not work in Rakuten at the end of the day...

I love this challenge so much that I shared it on this site. I would probably never knew anything about the B2B process if I did not take this challenge. Months later, My manager asked me to help planning and designing an E-commercial website... and let's see.

Of course, there are teams, and excellent PMs work together with me (in their points of view, I am working together with them.) This experience gave me a basic understanding of what I would face in the future.
