I had a good time at#PrattUXathonwith my teammates on 2/23 2020 and luckily being selected as the grand champion 🎉. In the design challenge, we thought through how to help seniors combat feelings of loneliness and social isolation.
Our project, StoryHub, is a service with simple, direct, easy-to-use, senior-friendly UI so that the seniors can help other people solve their problems — with their valuable life experience and knowledge. We also design how seniors receive feedback from their audience and how this feedback makes them feel valued.
We also considered the technology barrier and physical issues ( for example, sight and cognitive resources ) while we designed the UI of this rapid-prototype.
It’s always exciting to design and to see designs that care about people. In the research section, we learned about seniors’ thought and their difficulties, which made us being more aware of the needs of them. All of the designs in this hackathon was amazing and heart-warming. Thanks again for#UXPAPRATTandBrooklyn Product Designmade this happened. 🥰
